Mantra for the Passing & Arriving

Akal meaning timeless, immortal, undying.

This very simple mantra help the souls go through transition, for the departing one ascending into the ethereal real from the earthly world, and for the arriving souls (new born) descending to the earth from heavenly realm.

Chant Akal three times everyday for 17 days since the passing for the soul. It is one of the best thing we could do for a leaving soul, no matter we know him/her or not. You could just set the intention to send the sound current to him/her.

Pregnant women would want to chant Akal several times everyday for the baby in her womb. It helps the baby soul to get settled on the earth.

New mothers would want to chant Akal for the new baby who have just arrived on the earth for a good period of time. This will ease the stress in the intense early days for the baby and mother together.

When you are feeling despaired, scattered, defeated, weak or hopeless, when you want support, protection and soulful connections, chant Akal.  It connects you to your soul, to  infinity, the al mighty. It gives you instant strength, faith and trust.

“As the soul came and traveled through time and space and dropped the body to go unto Infinity, grant the soul the passage unto Thee, to peace, tranquility and everlasting rest.

Guru says, ‘Oh the fortunate one, listen to the Infinite which has no boundary.’

That’s why we have chanted Akaal—it breaks the boundaries, it breaks bondage, it frees us to reach the One who brought us here.”  – Yogi Bhajan

Mantra for Compassion & Oneness

Ang Sang Wahe Guru

Ang Sang Wahe Guru –  GOD/ The infinit is in every cell of mine, vibrating in ecstasy!

Ang – every cell, every limb, every part

Sang – in every part, with every part

Wahe – exclamation in ecstacy, like  Hallelujah

Guru – the one who brings darkness into light,  the teacher, the spirit guide, highest self

Chanting this mantra :

  • Synchronizes the finite sense of self to the Infinite Oneness

  • Invoke the experience of Love, Peace, Healing,  Unity, Harmony & Equilibrium

  • Destroy the negative thoughts & thought patterns
  • Dissolve fear, pain, hatred, worry & all undesirable emotions

A simple and powerful meditation with this mantra:

Sit relaxed in Easy Pose ( leg crossed & spine erect), hands in Gyan Mudra ( index finger touching the thumb), eyes closed, chanting Ang Sang Wahe Guru for up to 31 min.  To finish, deep inhale, hold the breath, deep exhale, repeat three times, and relax.

This meditation opens up your seventh and eighth chakra, and exalts your intuition.

“This mantra expresses a universal truth. Repeating it creates a thought, which gradually guides the psyche to adjust itself. lt reconnects every fragmented projection of the psyche, each separated part of the body, and synchronizes the finite to the Infinite.

This act of rejoining the separated parts is the quintessential act of healing. Under attack, under war, under the pressures of fear, this meditation keeps us together, conscious, and ready to act. lt brings the inner peacefulness that comes only from the touch and scope of spirit.

The dynamic, loving energy of the Infinite is dancing in every limb and every cell of our being. lndividual consciousness merges with the Universal Consciousness. With this mantra, we experience that we are not alone. The lnfinite One is with us in every cell and every limb of our being. We feel the Divine Presence removing our fears and loneliness.”

Excerpt from Mantra: Personal Guidance through the Power of the Word, by Bibiji

“Yogi Bhajan taught us to chant this mantra consciously. Look at the tip of the nose. First notice the tongue, mouth, and reflexes that accompany conscious chanting. Then connect the sounds spoken at the Navel Point. Speak each sound with the navel energy activated. Then as the energy builds and the central channel of the spine opens, vibrate all time and space from that central channel.

Merge into that infinite pulse and let the innate structure of the sound, the naad, raise your Kundalini, dissolve your ego and your fears, and immerse you in the clarity and ecstasy of the Oneness of All. ”  – Gurucharan Singh Kalsa

Sat Nam

Mantra for Divine Wisdom

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo

Ong  –  the creator, infinity, the beyond of beyond

Namo – worship, reverent greetings, bow, call upon

Guru – the teacher, the highest self, the one/ the technology that brings darkness into light

Dev – transparent ones, the angels, spirit guides

This is the mantra we chant in the beginning of all the Kundalini classes/practices, to invoke the connection and blessings of the Spirit of Golden Chain.

We call this process – Tune In. It is like a dialing code to the divine and the highest self/all the guides / teachers. Yogi Bhajan taught that after tune in, the teacher’s job is done, because the spirit of the Gold Chain has taken over. It is then a direct relationship / experience between the practitioner and the Gold Chain of teachers.

For myself, Ong Namo Guru Dev is my go to mantra. I chant it every morning when I wake up, and every night before I close my eyes in bed. I want to be in the constant connection with the teachers, I desire to be always tuned in and in alignment with my spirit, even in my dreams :)!

I chant Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo whenever I need answers, solutions & inspirations.

I chant Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo I feel myself off centered : too busy, too emotional, too scattered, too tired … 😛  It brings me right back to the center of my being, that is so calm, present, and wise.

I chant Ong Namo Guru Dev Naomo when I am feeling great, or regardless… It is a mantra very dear to my heart 🙂

I chant Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo a lot to Shen-Qi, my two years old daughter :)!

Mantra for Protection – Mangla Charan

I’ve been asked a lot about protection lately. There’re so many ways to do it. Some are more powerful than the others, depending on the situation. Also sometimes, I believe it is to Un-do it, depending on the situation.

Here is a much more universal approach – Chant the Protection Mantra

Aad guray nameh

Jugaad guray nameh

Sat guray nameh

Siri guroo dayv-ay nameh

I bow to the primal wisdom

I bow to the wisdom true through the ages

I bow to the true wisdom

I bow to the great unseen wisdom

How to use

  • Chant it at any time, in any place, whenever there is a need for protection.
  • When in doubt/ facing barriers, chant it. It brings clarity and opens you up to a sense of guidance from the highest sense of Self.
  • Chant it three times after the Adi Mantra (Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo), when tuning in for Kundalini Yoga class or practice.
  • Chant 3 times before departing in a car. It protects the journey. A 11 feet distance is created around you in time and space, so that things won’t happen.

Celebrate the 120th Day

In the Kundalini yoga tradition, we believe that the soul enters the mother’s womb on the 120th day of the pregnancy, counting from the day of the conception. Thus, this is one of the most important days.

It is a gateway.

Before the 120th day, according to Yogi Bhajan, the fetus is like a human statue. The parents are given this period of time to carefully think through, plan and prepare for the journey of parenting hood.  It is okay, if the parents so choose to let go of the child.

From the 120th day till birth, the soul dwells in the mother’s womb, and the mother starts to imprint on the child’s psyche. Whatever she thinks, feels, experiences will be imprinted on the child’s subconscious mind. The mother’s vibration starts to shape the life of the child in a significant way.

On the 120th day, the mother’s magnetic field/ frequency/ states of mind, will have a big influence on the soul that comes in. The happier she feels, the more positive she is, the brighter her aura is, the higher soul she will be able to attract into her worm, the better/easier/smoother experience the child has when he/she enters, the more stable the child starts in his/her human life.

So, we want to do our best to elevate the mother, on this special day :)! We want her to have a very very good time on this day:)!

We could

Gather for her

Celebrate her

Praise her

Honor her

Hold ceremonies for her

Practice yoga

Offer gifts

Have feast for her

It is the day for her, the divine mother!

Sound Code of the Divine Feminine

She is the divine feminine

She is she

She contains he

She commands the three rivers of time

Past, Present & Future

She directs the Trinity of the three principles

Who create, sustain and destroy

She is entangled with the creative universe

The entire technical know-how knowledge of existance

In the micro, in the macro, she dances

With the psyche of harmony consciousenss
